Hello mate,

I was just checking up on some old posts and came accross yours from a couple of days ago, about your problem with the leak on the short rubber hose in the front of the engine block.

My Z has exactly the same problem. Can you tell me where you got the parts/hoses from, and how much?

Cheers!

Neil

With some trepidation I attempted to open said link. Somewhat to my relief it came up as 'Page cannot be opened'.....phew!

Hope you used something light like helium to blow up your suit Nelson! You don't want to be using that heavy old air stuff!:D

i got them from nissan main dealers, was about 20 quid for the 2 small hoses and 4 new clips, it didnt need the clips but its about 12 quid for the pipes alone, part no 14055 for the pipes 24220 for the clamps, and you will need some liquid gasket for the alloy pipe, quite expensive but i managed to get a mate that works there to borrow me the tube, you only need a pea sized amount and its about 20 quid for a tube of genuine nissan stuff.

Thanks for that!

What would I/we do without this place?:)
