Hi all

have this weird noise when going along smooth road, at first i thought it was the wheel bearings because the noise seems to go if you turn wheel and take weight of the n/s were the noise seems to be!! but they seem fine according to my machanic!! also he pointed out he can feel it through the steering wheel!!! and since he said that so can i, any body come across this.

Dont let me down driving to goodwood festivel of speed soon and just going up the road to the japfest started peeing me off

Check you balancing on your wheels.

 

Most places its free to check and only charge you if it needs anything doing to it.

 

Its amazing how much a small weight can effect your car.

It is not the balancing.

 

Do better to check the condition of the tyre, look hard. And wheel bearings can be very hard to "confirm" with out fitting new.
