I bought a Z today, so I'm back behind the wheel of a Z!!

It will need a new leather interior ;)

 

Soon as Jeff returns from hisholiday it will be going in to ZedWorld for him to give it a once over.

 

Soon as I have given it a good once over, wash and wax etc....I'll take some pictures!

I'll be putting in the mStation sometime this week, should go nicely with the pioneer head unit, 2 amps and nice boxed sub in rear. All the 4 speakers ahev been sorted as well, can't remember the name of them, guy did say but I forgot!!

hello board...

 

and congrats matty on new z. not wishing to sound an arse, but did you ever sell the old one that you slagged me off about seeing?

 

did it have a propshaft problem or was it something different?

Alright fella!

 

Yes I did sell it and no it wasn't a prop-shaft on it's way out.......nothing wrong at all.

 

The clicking at the front was the brake discs which I did say would need replacing, I did do the discs and pads all round after that so that 'click' was then gone.

 

When I sold it it also had a new autobox (zero miles off the shelf!) put in it, and Keith S of this board is the new owner.

Thats right mine for 9 months now and still no problems (touch wood), hope you have the same luck with your new one Matty;)

I had my fingers crossed from the moment I put my foot down!! :D

 

Seems to be (touch wood) good. Just a couple of interior niggles but that will not take long to put right.

 

Keith, the guy (matey) that came to look at the Z slated it (Z you have now!) and thought it was crap and said this was wrong, that was wrong, this isn't right, that should be this, that's slow etc....yadda yadda yadda.........couldn't wait for him to get out of the car if I'm honest!

 

..........but then again he is an 'expert', so who am I to argue? ;)

 

Now where is that not so nice smiley............. ;)

I Love Z experts me....!:o

But he has been driving them for 7 years and knows 'everything' about them.

 

He even managed to feel that my prop-shaft was fooked from driving it.

 

Jeff told me that there was nothing wrong with it and so did another garage.

 

But I have to say with 7 years of experience of Z's he must know his stuff. (who said sarcasm is the lowest form of wit?)

 

12 months later there is still no problem with it, Keith is happy with it!!
