There's been talk about insurance companies yet again recently, and although I can't give advice on which to opt for... I can tell you 3 to stay well clear from ! They gave the best prices at the time, but they've screwed me over relentlessly !
I've even got one of the numbers for complaints on the memory dial !
Prestige Insurance: Screwed up my cover, they don't know which each department is doing, as I was constantly getting bad letters with contradicting information after the manager has told me on the phone that the problem is sorted. I've been with them for 3 years....had no claims...and yet only have the first year no-claims bonus that I joined them with. HOW THE HELL DOES THAT ONE FIGURE !???
Sabre: Promised me TPF&T cover for my Z at 1.4k....(cheapest at the time)..cover notes support this... but when the certificate arrives, it's stated as Third Party Only.
Obviously don't even care about their image, as the certificate is on shoddy paper...ripped and with ink smudged. Looks like they've been passing it round the departments having a laugh !
Allen & Allen: This is the big one... it the father company to the former two. Also include names like lloyds (who screwed me also). Basically, if your documents come in an envelope with a stamp containing the words Allen & Allen Group... RIP IT UP AND FIND ANOTHER ! ! !
Jayen - sorry for the bad air on the board, but extremely foul tempered and pennyless due to the ****ing blood-sucking manipulating *****oles ! ! !
(really tired of living in this sorry excuse for a country)
