Have noticed in recent weeks that i am getting a strange bubbling noise from inside the nearside wheel arch, sounds a little bit like a kettle with not enough water in (very tecnical...!!)

apart from a recent leak from a water hose in the engine i have not noticed any problems with the vehicle but am worried incase it is something more serious any help would be appreciated

Thankyou sounds like thats the problem will do it tomorrow weather permitting...!!!

I had similar noises from mine at the same time as my heater matrix failed - also loosing a lot of coolant. Isn't that where the expansion tanks is?

I dont seem to be loosing any coolant, but do have a water leak (tempoary repaired yesterday..!!) on a section of pipe inside the engine, going to try the AVI today will let you know if it cures the problem

Problem coreected all bubbling noises have gone, thanks b19rks for the help much appreciated:)

Does drilling a hole in the pipe work ok, or is it best just to drain it

I drained it first then drilled a small hole in the "U" bend and the problem seems to have gone, which is the best option i couldnt tell you but it has worked :)

I went to do mine but when i found no water in them i didnt bother drilling the hole!!!

My noise is coming from the waterpump:mad: :(
