was doing timming belt the other day.. noticed that there is a large weight on the pulley at the rear othe pulley . it does not meet the mounting in any way .... this could be turned of using a lathe ???? lot cheaper than an unothox jobbie ..... any reason that this could not be done ? would it cause an imbalance in the pulley or is this not really an issue as the same amount of material would be removed from all areas of the pulley
