Was I at the wrong event.

 

Thought I'd turned up at the Subaru Impreza annual meet. There must have been 250 of the bloody things in one section!!!!!!

 

Oh and about a dozen Zeds scattered about.

 

A few nice ones in the car park though.

 

Mind you I left about 1.30, Did all Zeds turn up later...........

Went to 'Subarufest', sorry i meant 'japfest' aswell today. Aside from the weather,not a bad show. Didnt see that many zeds in the show but did spot a few nice ones in the carpark areas. :)

Role on summer!!! Anyone doing RTTS next week ???

Was going to RTTS in THIS but its not happening now! Shame.

 

Not much place for a Z down there, its supposed to be a VW event but in recent years has been taken over by the Nova and Cavalier boys.

Went there at the last minute so to speak,bit of a journey but the show was very good,managed to get on the ZClub stand to,and considering its the first Japfest Castle Combe have done was well laid out and organized,shame the bloody rain kept coming and going,met Burf2000,JulianZ32,Dave Sargeant,Dan Hock,300zxnewbie,and one or two more i cant remember,met some Zclub members,very friendly lot,saw some good track time racing,got a bit of film of 240Zs at full chat!all in all not a bad day,would go again,bloody knackerd now,still Santa Pod in the morning:eek: :D :D

I was there (grey 300zx in zclub with yellow seats)

 

Not a bad day just too many scoobies

 

oh and a gto beat a 300zx round the course

I was there yello z in carpark

like must of you said to many scoobies around tho still we no whos car is best dont we lads/ladies

I was there, had a chat with a few people but not many. Weather was a bit crap, but some fun racing. Saw a UK spec blue Z wazzing around, seemed to be a fraction slower than a Mitsu GT3000 (?) though.

what the silver one who had no idea of how to drive on the track!!!!!!!!!

Yeah i cant believe the gto beat the 300zx!

Oh and my mrs said something was wrong with it the second time it went round the track (more smoke and zorst blowing)

Saw Dave Seargeant, Burf, a lurker ;) with a black manual UK Zed who will hopefully start posting soon (!) :D and a silver one in South Mimms filling up, but he wasn't going to Jap Fest, despite giving him a map and everything! :D :D

i managed to make it to japfest. was a good show apart from the excessive amount of subaru's!

was expecting a few more things to buy though!

think the silver zx on track had metal to metal rear brakes because kept locking back end up, didnt sound too healthy comin into pits either!

my tt was the black one (k 300 BAD) with 18 inch chrome rims!

any one spot it? cheers people

I could have rushed over but I was fixing an exhaust back on to my mates car at the time and were cover in greasy shite. :)

Oh nad it was raining and much drier/warmer under his bonnet. LOL

LOL @ Kinda Blondey. :D It's about as blonde as it can get without turning white, which it can do in the summer sun... :rolleyes:
