poor transport

poor health service

influx of asylum seekers

too many do-gooders pampering to the criminals

victimisation of the motorist

sending charity abroad instead of helping our own homeless, ill, old.

being filmed and monitored in the street and on the roads

People earning not much more than minimum wage who are foolish enough to wave flags at the queen and think princess Di was lovely.

The generation of scum who see social security, shell suits, mobile phones, child benefit, free council homes and loitering around the streets all day as being the accepted norm.

My other half had her bag snatched in Islington yesterday, when reporting it to the local plod they said, it was the 5th reporting of the day and it was a team of immigrants carrying out the crimes....

I find that City Cabs are quite reasonable to be honest, have you had a bad experience with your local cab firm then?

to give you an idea i just purchased my new camcorder from the States.

 

Right price of said camcorder here (cheapest i could find) for the bottom of the range model. 450.00

cheapest place i could find in the states for the top of the range model delivered to my house plus taxes granted is ........... 370.

now the model i ordered was 899 here in the wonderful United Kingdom, i mean how the **** does that work out?

its under half the price..?????????/

 

then of course the funniest thing of all is how this entire country is made up of "ENGINEERS" lmffao i love it when they ask "what do you do for a living" answer :"im a health engineer" lmfaao the guys a ****ing bag cleaner lol..

Most of the people i hate to say it are very far stuck up there own arse - although this seems to stem from London more than anything else.

The biggest single issue this country has, is that everyone, almost the entire nation are APPOLOGISTS (its not a bad thing) but when you have it to good for to long you begin to appologise for the rest of the world and pretty much everything you do...

What about all the people that go around with their countries flags hangin from their wing mirror.

I also got told by police that I couldn't have a little british balldog on my rear parcel shelf of my BMW, but I'm sure if I put a gold plated box of tissues on there it would be fine !!!!

Yes crime is getting higher, no thanks to the government, but is still no where near the levels of else where in the world.

 

There are many problems in every country. If you where French you would be spineless, Italian you would be a long haired puff, so on and so forth.

 

Just be thankful that you government doesnt kill you like in some countries. Be thankful that rebel armies dont just walk into your town, raping women and killing children and the men.

 

There are a lot worse places in the world than Great Britain, but there are not many places which are better off.

I actually don't mind this place, yes I have my gripes - weather, immigration, taxes etc but like Stuart says there are far worse places.

 

When I reach retirement that will be the time to immigrate to a nice warm country.

True. It's worth remembering that not only should the English (& Welsh & Scottish I suppose;) ) be proud of their country, but they should be aware that their country has brought a LOT to other countries all over the World. We are not perfect but we have a lot to be proud of. Even the Empire benefitted many countries.

I hate intolerance and love ethnic diversity - the UK has always been populated by mongrels we are virtually all descended from mixed race - Angles, Saxons, Jutes, Celts, Picts, Scots, Britons and several types of Viking! just to name a few.

 

I hate insults and mud slinging and love intelligent and informed discourse that deals in facts and figures rather that base emotions.

The fact that St Patricks Day and Burns night is celebrated in our local pub. St Georges Day?....nada

Having spent 10 years as a lad living in South Africa , 3 years as a bum in South East Asia makes me appreciate the good things in the U.K....I just can't remember what they are right now?:confused:
