i been told it the coil pack that it holds in

Why not remove one of the others, go to your local motor factors, and see if they'll supply you with 12 of the same BUT anodised ones ;) Brighten up the engine bay while you're there ;)

Thats what i was thinking of doing. i went to the shops and now one had one the right length

So no one has one then?

I seem to remember from my days in school, when we had metal work....... oh the memories are coming back now....

You need to measure the length then assertain the pitch, bear in mind they it may be J'Spec which is a different pitch 1.25 if I remember correctly.

And remember that a bolt is not threaded all the way to the head, that is a set screw.

you mean the bolt that in pairs holds a coil pack to the plenum. I've got one missing too. Reason is that the threads are stripped. You get some gung ho mechanic that thinks he has to torque every bolt to 70 lbft and bang goes the threads. The bolt has to be the right length as well because when it bottoms it strips also. You really need to drill down and re tap a bigger size or put in a helicoil. Or leave it alone like me - the coil pack sits there just fine with one bolt.

I made a bolt yesterday for it

I would just like to get hold of a orignal one

The threads were ok i just think it came undone
