Where are you from Sunbeds?

Do you have a TT or an NA?

Cheers,

F.T.

I am presuming that your car is a none turbo with 7.6 seconds. If it isnt I dont think your turbos are working at all.

What reg is your car it could be the Z31, the older 300zx.

If it is the newer 300ZX G reg and upwards (There are a very small amount F reg) was the water coming from the front of the car but to one side. If you are looking at your car from the frint, if the water is coming from the front right corner of the car, it will more likely be coolent overflowing.

Its happened to me.

hi iam from surrey

the car is a tt when you do floor it the boost gauge moves up 3/4 of the way past the half way line oh and it is a auto and it is a 89 model it just seems a bit slow between 50mph upwards i had my mates 2.0td modeo keep up with me yesterday on the motoway will the car be any faster on accelration if i de restrict it

Have you had your car checked over since you've had it?

Also if you get the speedo changed to MPH then if done properly then it should also be deretricted.

I'm Hants/Surrey borders and use a mechanic that specialises in Jap cars.

Let me know if you want any more info.

Cheers,

F.T.

Well stock the Nissan say is 5.2 0-60. For a 2+2 its about 5.4-5.6 so something is wrong.

What you mean de-restrict it? How is it restricted.

The sotck boost gauge is not that good. You really need to put an after market on in to get a good reading of the boost pressure you are running.

It does sound like you are in saftey boost. Normal boost is 9spi, but if the engine detects some errror is restricts the boost to 7psi. that 2PSI makes a huge difference.

What you need to do is run an ECU diagnostic on it and that will tell you if the detination sensor (The thing that makes you go to safty boost) is triggered.

Do you know how to run an ECU diag?

Stuart

no i do not know only got it yesterday is it easy to do

cheers i will post some pics soon the actuall car is imaculate

Have you checked your running on all 6 cylinders? Sounds silly I know but worth checking, does it hesitate under accelaration?

What I fail to understand if you only bought the car yesterday and you're noticing a problem today, did you check the car out properly before you bought it?

Geoff.
