Just got the car back and my det sensor has gone. Have any of you had trouble with the resistor solution? Car has done a shade short of 80K miles and although the turbos are reel good for now, I`m thinking about leaving the det sensor as is until I have to get the turbos replaced.

 

Any thoughts?

if you replace with resistor basically all this does it not put you in safty boost when you are detting

 

fine if your engine is fine but bad if your engine is bad,

 

you can have your det sensor relocated but a lot of people seem to think this is not a good solution due to the extra resistance in the wire you are adding
