My car will not start (starter motor problem) and i need to get it out of the garage to jack it up, but can i just put it in N and push it out:confused: :confused:

LOL yes no problem pushing it,You must be getting confused with towing it,you cant tow them;)

I know it may sound silly........but have you tried giving the battery a good charge? I thought my starter motor had packed up but turned out to be duff/flat battery. Worth a go?

No m8 the battery is new the problem is leaking fluid on the starter a good squirt with wd40 got it going the other day but i've got to get under it, so im of outside to push the great lump CHEERS;)

Ok, well another bit of advice is don't forget to disconnect the battery if you're taking the starter motor off (cos I did forget and nearly fkin welded my screwdriver to it!)

Took 4 of us (and me steering :D) to move her back (twat of a neighbour parked his car to close!!) so we could get her inline and on to the flatbed to go and have that spanky new autobox fitted.
