burf2000 mods part 2

Well your thought my superchager thing was funny

now part 2

I brought of the web a piggy back chip thingy

Its called a IAT timing trick and as far as i can see its a resistor and is suppose to go on the lead that would plug in to the air box

well its suppose to tell the pcm that its taking in 57 f temperature air and that may give up to 1.5 degree in increased timing

Wow sounds fun

Whats does it mean in english

I brought it for a joke and cost be $3 (good quality product)

We did this on a 2.5 V6 Mondeo & it actually worked, not sure I'd want to risk it on the Z though

Well what does it do

Do you just unplug the cable from the air sensor and plug it in to that

No idea on Z, on the Mondeo we had to cut the wire & solder it in

I know an ever cheaper solution:

Set the CAS to 17 BTDC (on a TT this can lead to detonation though)

Whats that mean in english mate

Set the timing to 17 degrees by turning the Crank Angle Sensor (You'll have to use a timinglight to do this)
