Sounds like you need some sort of A-team stylee armour plating welded on to the back ... plus some sort of rear mounted machine gun, that you can blast the hell out of them with, in the certain knowledge that although their car will explode in flames, they'll be able to run away unscathed. (Showing my age here!;) ).

 

Seriously, though, sorry to hear this ... it's bad enough when it happens once, but repeatedly ... that's real sh*te.

just had a thought - if u drive fast and slam on good brakes at the last minute couldn't this easily cause lesser cars with crappy brakes to not be able to stop in time and .....?

Yup it could. But all these shunts I keep getting are when I'm bloody stationary and waiting at traffic lights!:confused: I chased the one that hit me last week, and got the Police to attend where he parked...........they shrugged their shoulders and gave ME the sodding producer!!! Tossers!

 

What do you reckon my insurance company will say when I tell them I've had 8..... yes 8!!!! NON FAULT accidents this YEAR!??! Something tells me I'll be keeping quiet!

I understand you doubting me but........

 

1. Car parked in works car park.

2. Car parked at petrol pump (while I was filling up!)

3. Car parked in works car park (different bay)

4. Car parked in customers car park

5. Car parked outside my house

6. Car parked outside my house - my mate dropped his bike on it

7. Car stationary at traffic lights for about 30 seconds

8. Car sitting in stationary traffic for about 5 minutes.

 

Can you imagine how angry I am? It's not a subtle/unobtrusive car. I am a VERY placid person but the next one to hit me is gonna suffer. I don't care about the consequesnces any more. The Police obviously don't care a toss, so why should I?

A small gap opened in the traffic queue for Hangar Lane (about the busiest junction in London) and they were off. The gap closed instantly and I was not about to write off my car totally by slamming it into an artic' while trying to chase them. 3 young Asians in a clapped out and smoking Nissan Micra! Something tells me they would not be insured/taxed etc. and I'd end up getting more sh1t from the Police about it...again! Not looking forward to driving home:( How much are those Armoured Personnel Carriers these days. Preferably one with a working GUN! Some people really do need extreme physical pain being visited upon them!

Sorry don't get me wrong, I wasn't saying you were lying ;) I've had a person drive off on me before now and that was after a total write off - old morris marina or something so prolly drunk with no insurance and no tax and no license... and yet these people get away with it....... So fvckin annoying

Might have been better off reporting them to immigration rather than the police anyway ? ;)

 

Getting a producer when the previous one hit your stationary car REALLY sucks ! Once upon a time we had justice in this country !

 

Almost had a similar accident myself once but luckily I was at the front at a set of lights; so when I heard tyres skidding behind me and saw some kid sliding towards me in a Celica I just booted it forward a few meters through the lights. Guarantee I'd have got grief had the feds seen me though ! :rolleyes:
