If you take a look on the auto trader site and enter details to sell a car on the £9:99 offer by entering the reg number it comes up with what make it is and in some cases what model!

 

What data base they using then?

presumably the same one the insurers use. I had a load of trouble with my volvo S70, as the reg came up with a 2L diesel manual, while mine is a 2.5 petrol auto.

I know private plates always upset these things so i tried a someone elses reg, a 7 seris bm came up as a 3 seris????

Mine came up wrong - it said my car was white??? WTF its almost all standard nissan brown :D:D:D

I thought that I wasn't getting the performance I expected on Optimax ... now I know why! ;)

Yeah, nice one John. It has had a private plate in the past and the ZX Spectrum database cant keep up with anything newer than Nurse Gladys Emmanuel's Morris Minor ;)
