April 29, 200322 yr hi chris are you after a car as i can get them directed from the auctions in japan may cost a bit more but you should get a good genuine car. all the best sid
April 29, 200322 yr From memory, I think it is called Wilsons Car Autions and it is in the ABP building right on the dock. Tuesdays was the day last time I went (about a year ago). Be careful, they have some real crap come though. Do not be tempted by silly prices (they soon mount up with SVA and registration)!!!!!!! Paul
May 1, 200322 yr There are 2 running at present, though not as active as they were 4 months ago. One is Southampton vehicle auction near dock gate 10, and they run every fortnight. Tel 023 8063 1631. The other is through dock gate 4. website http://www.motorwaycarauctions.com. It would be best to check the stock for sale first. They do not have a lot of sports cars compared with the 4x4 veriety. You have to get the cars registered etc, but no big deal. You have to remember that you have to put £500 down before you are even allowed to bid. Stuart
May 2, 200322 yr please, please, please DONT even bother, been there, done that, know people who have bought gto/fto, in the long run end up paying much more AND all the hassle of putting them right. the only motivation i can see to buying a specialist mojo like a zed from an auction is to save money, and as we know, there hard enough when there good, so why buy a bad one?? yes they all look nice and shiny but long term big bucks, if you want a 'cheap' zed, but a dog for 3k off autotrader, if however you want a good one, buy one off here(theres enough going) chances of getting a good one from a forum member who has cared for it are high. As always in this shitty life, you only EVER get what you pay for!!! vicky x x the above is a fact and not an opinion
May 2, 200322 yr If you want an import then you can always buy mine as its up for sale. I bought it from a millionaire businessman so its been very well cared for and no expense spared on this model even with me. Tony
May 2, 200322 yr I am also selling mine. Its a Aug.1999 import (non-turbo though). One owner from new (i.e. bought myself new in Japan and then imported myself). Let me know if you are interested.
