I'm hoping I don't need it!

The Zed is getting it's first longish motorway run today.

Bristol to Fareham.

Lets hope it holds up, if not there's always Green Flag ;)

Unfortunatly I have to leave early as I can't drive the Zed on unlit roads/motorways due to the f*****g useless dipped headlights.

Tried the other night on the motorway and I had to crawl to the next exit at 50mph cos I couldn't see more than six foot in front of the car

Still at least my new wiper blades now work, although I hope I don't get too much road spray as the windscreen washers don't work :(

Heh heh heh

I think today will be interesting ;)

Cheers, the car was as good as gold.

Scary how much fuel I was using at 100mph though ;)

Crap Lights? Why?

Is there something wrong with yours or do you mean that they are generally shite?

ive always found the lights to be fine at speeds in excess of 100mph on mortorways at night, maybe its your eyes? I can generally see quite well even if the lights were off unless its an A road with no lights.

I always though shite lights were a Zed trademark ;)

Maybe mine are just worse than most, but I do like to see where I'm going in the dark.

Mine are shite too. Am investigating HID conversions.

Paul

I know Leigh was looking at this a while ago but don't recall any result.

There are quite a few available US for $500 or so.

Oh and Philips do a kit but their site search is so cr*p I gave up. Sorry!

And I think the late JDM 300ZXs had HID anyway - so could these fit? (But probably cost $$$$$).

Eric, you should be OK with a UK spec ... if you want to see (or not) really dim lights ... try a J-spec ... Mine were about as effective as a pair of birthday cake candles .... that had just been blown out ... :D

May I suggest some PIAA super-white bulbs ....

Look here: Ice White Bulbs .... I have these fitted now, and upon first switch on, I could here a chorus of "I can see clearly now .."

Not cheap but sh*t hot!! :D :D

CheerZ,

JB.

Cheers JB, I'll have to checl them out :)
