New gearbox is in, now its failed its MOT. Nothing drastic though, just a f**ked rear shock. As I'm running super short on funds where can I source some cheap rear shocks ASAP?

I think the rears are pretty cheap anyway bud, something like £35.

And believe me I can sympathise - I'm waiting to have the sorry pile of scrap that was my auto box replaced with a nice manwell one. I could REALLY do without forking out any more but I just figured I've had enough hairy moments with the auto box for TC to be essential with my driving when I go manual :D

To be completely honest with you I wouldn't worry about Launch control too much anyway. I've only ever used it a few times and it doesn't seem to do much more than slip my stillen stage 2 clutch.

The pull away is not much better IMHO.

 

Now the b@stard thing has decided to limit my revs to 4250 while I'm driving. I got a feeling the connection has just slipped out of the TC box but ddn't fancy kneeling in the sh|t last night whilst wearing a suit.
