Is it wider tyres you're after?

I know that the standard fitment is 225 all round on the Jap Zed.

However, I've got 245 tyres on the rears on Jap rims. No problems at all. :-)

rim is 8.5 me thinks ??? any 1 ... uk rears are 9" ... slightly deeper dish .. sit out a little more ... look better for it

J. spec. wheels are 7.5" wide. check with tyre manufacturer before putting wider than 225 tyres!

Cheer's for the info.....i Think the wider wheel's on the rear as well as the wider tyre's would look better....i never could understand why they put same size rim's all round on a jap zed ????Any idea's?

Yes, it's covered in the 300zx Enthusiasts Guide by Ray Hutton. IIRC something to do with the 245/45 profile tyres not being approved for road use in Japan at the time, so they used 225/50 all round.
