I just got mine with TESCO (£1100). Next cheapest was adrian flux (£1500).

dave, i'm currently with barclays, i believe they still insure imports.

I would also recommend APLAN

Most insurance companies will not touch imported Zeds.

It is just an excuse to raise premiums yet more

But I must say Aplan were spot on for me, £700 fully comp. with 5ncd and a bunch of mods declared (though they did load the premium 25% for 18" wheels and GReddy Exhaust )

But wait Dave, honest, just wait and get a twin turbo.

You still get the looks with an NA and a lot of the performance..what you don't get is that 'Turbo Rush'...that makes even turbo diesels seem fast!

Touring in France last year, our car nearly caused several pile-ups, with the local french drivers and their passengers hanging out of their windows to get a look at our 'Beast'.

In france, performance cars of any kind are very rare outside of Paris...and a 300ZX is almost never seen on the road!It's great scaring the peasants with your large bore exhaust noise, through the villages!

When I owned the Batmobile before Senna stole it from me (!!), I was paying £1600 over monthly installments with Privilige. Not bad for a 21 yr old with too many points!!

I know ive posted this before but 2 months ago i took out insurance with Firebond fully comp for 300 sqids!INC PROTECTED BONUS! but on a 6000 mile restricted classic policy on the proposal form there was a tick box for imported and they were no problem I think some one posted they have refused others may be they only cover imports if over 10 years old. They where by hundreds's the cheapest but i'm 32.
