still high beam trouble

aye still no solving this problem if i put dip lights on blue main beam light on dash board comes on and won,t go off until you switch back to side lights . the relay switch under bonnet is working you can hear it clicking away when all lights are off when you operate the flasher arm on steering column. so can anybody else shed some light on this problem .cheers cully z:confused:

mine had meted wires ..... somebody must have put in bulbs that where to bright.....

 

u will first need a multimeter .... get the relay .... check the feeds to the bulbs ....

 

have u checked the earths on the bulbs ?

 

take the bulb out wire it up .. from what i remember a bit of wire to a bare piece of metal to the metal part of the bulb ??????

 

remiring is pretty simple .. but if u dont know what u r doing u could end up with a load of melted wires !!!!!!

meant to say .. when my lights had messed up .. this was happening .....

 

 

rewired my self ... but got the feed for the blue wire in dashboard mixed up ... it now is on with dip and of with main .... still cannot be aresed to fix it ...... some day

 

the prob as i said was the wires meted from relay to bulb
