I've done the bit under the steering column & the glove box, how do I remove that little bit at the side of the glove box without breaking something?

I know it's probably glaringly obvious, apart from to me that is,

Cheers anyone.

You have to take out the glovebox and the glovebox bracket.

You don;t really have to take the glove box out, you can just pull the vent off the side and unattach it from there.

That sounds more like . I don't really want the whole car in bits, I'm trying to do a bit at a time. Cheers smw1:) Any other advice for the task is welcome.

Just had a look at it. Does the whole end panel just pull off? that's what it looks like in the manual.

You will see 2 screws on the inside of the glove box that holds part of this on. There are also 2 screws inside the VENT on the outside of dash between the passenger side door and the dash. Just pop this vent cover off and you’ll see another 2 screws that need to be removed.

Cheers smw1, sh@t meself slightly as the side panel came off but the job's a goodn. Starting to look ace. Going for the door panel next, should be fun.

Check my site out. The door panel can be a bitch, you may get some ideas.

Look under the interior page.

I must be thinking about a different part to you. When I did mine there were two screws right behind the bracket the glove box attaches to which held that small end piece on.

smw1 it's your site that gave me the idea even before I got the car. Good site indeed, very helpful.:)

Dave, there were 4 screws in all. After taking some out of the parcel shelf bracket I was able to get at 2 of them then the others were accessible by removing the end panel which is juust clipped in.:)

I'd love to see the pictures once your are all done :D

Thanks for the nice comments about my site, very much appreciated. ;)
