You lot getting bored of me asking the same sort of questions over and over again yet :D :D :D.

Chris C mentioned previously that to run nismo 555 injectors you need a chip mapped for the 555's.

All you guys running these, what chips have you got and where did you get them ?

I'm like a little kid with sweets at the moment. I have really set my heart on these injectors :o

Stu getting SE to do mine when they are fitted.

Ok here we go again  LOL

Forgot to ask earlier stu - you gonna go for big tubs too??? dont think its gonna be worth it if not matey. or are you just thinking along the lines of there fitted just in case your turbos do ever need replacing?!? ;)

Once my turbo's fail, then I'll be getting bigger ones :D

They gotta fail first, I'm just helping them along :p

Does anyone here have a JWT 555 chip ? Who bought the one from eBay recently ? I hear there's people around who know how to copy them, might be worth a try.

Must admit I agree with PaulC, won't be of much use unless you are going for bigger tubs!!

I recently had a conversation with one of the suppliers of the new Apexi AFC, he said you can programme into it the injector size and then you go and get it tuned, alledgedly it is all meant to work hunky dory!

The JWT 555 chip can run too rich, so having an AFC could be useful!

Surely there must be something else to make your car go faster?

I don't think the 555's will!

I didn't think that the 555's would make the car faster at the moment. I just thought they would be nice ground work for future mods.

I have an injector which may be fauly, so unless I get a second hand stock injector.......

The 555's in a car with stock turbos are for safety, which is never a bad thing.

Running above 1.1 bar of boost on stock injectors is pushing it and you run the risk of running too lean (which results in high combustion temps, which leads to detonation, etc)

Since the 555's can flow more fuel you eliminate this risk..

Anyway,

I have several 555 programs and if you already have an upgraded chip: I also have the ability to reprogram your chip to be "compatible" with 555cc (or 740cc) injectors and/or dual intake

Contact my if you're interested

Mark, I have heard some bad stories about the new AFC...apparently it has a few nasty bugs.

Better wait for a new software update

Hi Lymon,

Nice to see you back where you been?

Would you run stock turbos above 1 bar?

Don't tell Steve E the new Apexi has bugs:eek:

Mark
