hiya,

Jez has suggested that it might be a good idea to create a techincal forum for those type of questions...

and leave the general forum as it is for general chatty stuff

what do you think ?

i think its a good idea, as long as we can keep to the main topics.. although past performance has shown that it is a bit difficult... wink.gif

thumbs up or down ?

Nah - i Dont think we have enuff traffic to really need it and the new TT.net pisses me off as there are now soo many forums to keep track of - I would say stick with the one untill the Tech stuff starts to get lost in the rest of the chit chat. But depends what everyone else thinks . . .

Z ya

Nico 91TT

I think I agree with Nico on this. We aren't busy enough and we never stay on one topic for more than 5 seconds.

Craig.

Got to go with Nico on this mate.

How much can you get Special Brew for? lol

People tend to forget about techincal forums. You only tend to visit the techincal forum once a day so not as many people see it and it will take longer to fix peoples problems. Keep it as it is.

Stuart

Sorry Craig, but I'm in agreement with Nico etc. I know that sometimes things do get a little banterish and people do get sidetracked away from techy talk(me being one of the worst offenders) but I like things the way they are now!

When techy is needed it usually gets enough attention to satisfy most without having to have a tech. only forum. Also I agree, I don't like TT.net's General and Tech. what's the point??? This means that you just have more to keep track of which is a pain in the arse, keep it all centralised I say.

IMHO!

P.S. I'm seeing somebody else behind my Girlfriends back, can anyone give me any advice? Should I tell her and get it all out in the open??? Or should I carry on being a two-timing cheating stud??? LMAO!

P.P.S. £2.39 for 4 in Tesco Johnny!

Hi,

Best to leave it as it is...too many forums just gets confusing, and time consuming.

JEZ wink.gif

yup leave it as is, except make me my own section cause im the only one who makes sence on this forum lol

How about building in a spelling and grammar checker - now that would make a difference biggrin.gif

I must admit I like it the way it is.

But I think there should be a seperate forum, where people go solely to argue about which colour car is best and whether Autos or Manuals rule!!

Even tho everyone knows that Black TT Manuals create the most amount of moistness smile.gif

Glen.

As one thread/subject/problem, gets answerd or replied either the post just gets more informative or goes on to the next problem and so on. Or it just gets the British sence of humour....Long live it.

The forum is so informative from replies & personal e-mails its spot on, you have done a fantastic job of policing the jubious doubles game! Nuff said.

A tech sec would merge us into the 300zx.globe senario. When one of the now monthly new members comes in they are advised within minuets. Which is unique.

Perhaps Craig/Nico/Lymon & other highly experienced Z owners & tech mechanics Johnny/Danny could have a long lunch one sunday. And refresh the tech sec left.

Giving us mere owners! Problem = link.

With a comercial/personal responce.

A problem isn't a problem when theres an a solution/answer.

harve.

Spot on Harve!

Speaking as someone who came here long before I bought a Zed, I have learned so much from the Forum members just by asking and reading.. I have also made got to know the good folks here, and they have got to know me smile.gif - My hat certainly goes off to all the people here who have helped me and other potential Zedders, and to the creators of this place, good on ya!!

smile.gif

The point my wafflings is that TT.net is, to me, very abrasive ... 300zx.co.uk is so much more personal and friendly (I would still come here if I didn't have a Z smile.gif ) and I think the formula works perfectly.

I agree that perhaps an unto date tech section with hyperlinks to relevant info would be great, but the 300zx forums are great as they are - I love 'em..

Just my two penneth Craig smile.gif

Peace and lotz of boost,

Glen
