Crashed Z - Repair it or sell as is???

Hi Guys,

As some of you are aware i crashed my Z about a month ago and still wating for the f@cking court to sort things out. It looks like it will take about 3 months before i hear anything from them.

My questions are:

1. Is there any other way i can repair my Z apart from using original parts? As in fiberglass for the bonnet and bumper, a way to sort the headlights out (the glass part).

2. Is there any other car that shares the lights and or bonnet of the Z32?

3. Has anyone on here ever "made" themselves a bumper and/or bonnet, etc... and if so do you have any info on how i could do this.

Basically i need to get the car on the road for minimal expense until the bank will give me the money i want to borrow or the courtcase finally comes around.

I need advice on how i can do anything to it, please help if you can.

I know it might seem to be a bit of a stupid set of questions but i need my car back on the road ASAP.

Most parts you can get in the UK second hand - but I'm not sure about Bahrain! :(

It also looks as if you need repairs and straightening on the framework/metalwork behind the front bumper - I think that would be where most of the cost would go.

If you need secondhand parts and cannot source in Bahrain then see AndyZ's section of this website and he should be able to advise on parts prices.

I do need the front left framework/chassis straighting and a bit on the right side aswell.

One of my friends think s that the Z32 chassis is in 3 peices, as in you can un-bolt the fron bars and fix them idependantly, is this the case?

i will check with AndyZ and see if he has any lights or anything else i need.

Anyone any ideas on "a bodge job" for the bumper??

Cheers

Not too sure about that...

Those sections seem very much part of the chassis.

i can see what you mean, it looks like there is no where it could become "removed" from the chassis.

I am trying to get some info on how i can start to repair it.

That picture above is usefull as i can see what it should look like.

Any more pics of Z's with out the bumpers on would be appreciated.

Cheers
