IS there a Consult/Software that the common man can buy to check out his Z?

Can any damage be done from doing an ECU diag? I havent done one, but Nissan have no clue about my car, they are gonna rip out the Air Flow Meter on the off chance it might be stuffed, whats next new seat covers in case there is a connection? smile.gif Should I try the ECU guys?

Sounds like your garage is usless.

It would be daft not to check for an ecu error code. See tech secton on www.twinturbo.net.

If they have a consolt they should at least run the default check of everything and check the voltage of the possible faulty air flow meter, maybe on a run.

If they bother to read the service manual section on faults it would help!

You could, buy an Apexi Multi-checker or some places still have the Techtoms which display various bits of useful sensor info... but maybe you don't need one.

Snap on Do one for about 5K i think - i Would consider either finding a better Nissan Dealer or buying a Techtom and learnign the ECU diag Ropes

Apexi have Discontinued the Multichecker...
