so why did it stop the engine

it i reverse the airflow then the engine stop but slower like its straved of air which is what i thought would happen

So what is it, an old Morphy Richards hairdryer ? Switched to cold I hope ! ;)

Nop not a joke

i thought i would fix one and see what it was like

it is just a high speed motor and fan in a 3" pipe

blows very hard

but cuts the end off!

it is between the airflow meter and the k and n induction kit

Try putting it after the airflow meter...

oo good idea

but then the engine wont no how much air its got?

also wont the suckion cause the same problem?

Yeah cause it's sucking the air through the AFM

No, the airflow meter is very sensitive to turbulence - if the fan is directly b4 it then you probably won't get an accurate measurement of the air flowing through it. If the fan is after it - a reasonable distance - then this turbulence won't be a problem....

HTH

CheerZ,

Andy

So Why does the engine cut out straight away then, cause the afm has gone off the scale?

I will try and move the supercharger to the other side ?

Strictly speaking people always fit 2 of these and fit them just before each throttle body. Under WOT they will cause a restriction in airflow and massive turbulence. If you fit a boost gauge you wont find any boost pressure in the plenum at all.

Still at least you got it cheap :D

Paul

So you dont think it will do anything then?

Remove it lmao, bet the car runs better :D

and they arrested Hugh Grant for doing this as well!

Apparently it was his foot moving on the brake pedal that gave the game away.

we are talking about the same thing arent we, getting blown?

Get back to the subject please

So non of you know why a air increase should stop the engine?

do you mean its running all the time, ie at idle, or does it just cut in at higher revs?? at what speed does the engine die.

your not trying to switch it on from idle or anything are you??? ie with the throttle shut.

I did try at ide (sorry)

But then i started it up and reved it to about 3000 rpm and then turned it on

I am scared to turn it on when moving case i crash

you would only want it on at WOT i would imagine.

silly question but what is WOT

So you think it will work at 5000 rom +

why would it kill the engine then
