She is a 1990 Black Manual NA.

Mileage is 50k and she looks like a clean example(hopefully).

She will be in UK, in the first days of May

I know the TT is faster and more fun, but that's all i could afford at the moment, due to other buys i did recently.

I can't wait for the car to arrive in Southampton. :D:D:D:D

Looking forward to come to the meetings. :)

As you said. Its a Z.

May not be as fast as a TT but there are only a few times when you actually use that extra power.

Summers coming up and that is slow driving with the roof off time any ways ;)

Congrats.

Any pics of it?

Stuart

Thanks SRRAE.

Hope this woks:

You'll love it mate.

Engine could do with a steam clean!!.

But it looks nice, you'll have a lot of fun.

I have a N/A also , i have now had it 4 years and i still love it.

Whether TT or not, you'll still have one of the best looking cars on the road. They still turn heads by the bucket load.

he he And with 18's, even more.

Have fun, although me thinks the next few weeks are gonna drag by.

Cheers Dave.

Thanks SRRAE & martek :D

It already feels like a century passed since i ordered-payed for it and it was yesterday :D

I have a friend who is into valeting and he said he is going to do it for me.

Do you have 18s on your car? If yes, can i see some pics?

I saw some nice bodykits on the net btw. :)

Steam cleaning the engine is not the really reckomended thing with such an old car. Many people have had problems afterwards as the old wiring loam is brittle.

Stuart

so, what's the safest way to clean it?

Also, what kind of fuel do i have to use?

Should run fine on normal Unleaded but a lot of people including myself use Optimax. Its a few pence more than normal but I get better MPG with it.

B19rks cleaned his engine bay with a tooth brush. Looks great though.

Stuart

Yep i agree there.

Shell Optimax, mine has a tendency to pink just a little on normal unleaded, but Optimax cures it.

Cheers Dave.

XTT- Nice car - Enjoy.

Safest way is using just a damp cloth.

A lot of people use Shell Optimax. I switched to it a few months ago and the engine sounds better and responds better as well.

Geoff.

from what i can see, the 18s are the way to go :D

thanks tanzx :)

Optimax it is then. :)

Geoff mate, where's the piccie of the new spoiler, can't wait to see it, as getting mine done in the next week or so.

Just trying to find somebody willing to do it for reasonable money, might even go down to the guy you used.

Cheers Dave.

Martek, I haven't had a chance to take pics yet. I will soon!!!

Would you not use FG - Lukes guy?

Geoff.

Nice one....looks like a very nice car,you must be chuffed!!:D :D

I use WD40 and a rag to get all the sh*te off my engine.

Cheers,

F.T.

Like the pics, but why is it snowing in Japan?? I thought it was hot there:confused:

Heres a pic of the toothbrush/cotton buds and autoglym method of engine cleaning.

Cheers fat tony :)

b19rks, you're engine bay is  !

royztt, the car will cost me approximately 2300 quid(total).

TTs are around 800-1000 quid more expensive. I didn't get one because i would have to tighten the belt for a month or two, so i chose the NA. :)

Are the JDM cars undersealed?

The car won;t run too well on a damp cloth, you need to put petrol in it :D :D :D.

Jap spec cars are used to 100ron OCtance level. Over here the closest we have is 98Ron Octone which is optimax.

Since buying my car (Jap Spec also) I have only ever used Optimax. I keep a bottle of octane booster (can buy fron Halfords) in my boot just in case I can't find a shell station. ;)

Looking forward to meeting you at the next meet Dave :)

Jap cars aren't undersealed.

It does snow in Japan, skiing in the winter in the mountains is common. Don't forget, Japan is a varied landscape (like Iraq) with hills, mountains, beaches and cities.(not like Iraq)
