Gavo have a ride a few miles down the road,Peter at PPS will do them for only a few squids;)

Don't do them yourself unless you are a top quality sprayer,as ChrisC found out LOL.

Yeah thats what i was afraid of, i would probably ruin them, is he in durham???

I've contemplated doing this to my silver one... decided in the end I'll spend more cash and have luke put in the '99 spec all clear ones at the back.. think it'll look better on a silver car?

Yes Mark,am sure PaulG and Elmo can vouch for this as they followed me all the way home on Sunday;)

Yeah - seems a nice idea!!!

Geoff.

I'll go for clear ones... more expensive but suits silver better I think...

SilverZ with black lights, but these have been done while ChriS was pissed LOL.

actually that's not bad at all...

damn you and your car showing example antics... I'm confused now... I'll end up like that bloke from harry enfield just goes with what his mates say :)

LMAO!

Yes they do look seriously cool but I made a shit job of doing mine and close up you could see a couple of runs.

I also put too much on as I didn't realise how much darker it got as it dried!

I put higher wattage bulbs in as is sometimes needed but they were still too dark.

You can clean it off with a solvent if you make a mess of it though.

I made the mistake of doing them on the car when they recommend you take the lights out and lay them flat to spray 'em.

I didn't and got the runs! Maybe that was the vindaloo... ;)

Jeez! My car has changed since these were taken!

The wheels are for sale with almost brand new tyres if anyone is interested.

Whose are those P.O.S red and white Z's? :D

I heard something the other day that blacking out the lights is illegal - the guy told me his mate was cautioned by the police for having blacked out lights. So may be???

Geoff.

What paint was used exactly, was it that Folio tec stuff or what. Certainly looks quite excellent.

Foliatec spray - a rip off at about £15 a tin but the end results are nice if you take your time.

Quite right, that's why I blacked mine and then went for the quad lights when I put the rest of the kit on, but I think you need the wide arches to make them look right IMHO.
