I have been given first refusal on a 1988 ZX300 2+2 in black. It has t-top and is in generaly decent condition inside and out, other than it desperately needs a good scrub down. The car is in its original state, even the wheels are the originals. Seems quite unusual though in the body styling department...rear lights are right across, similar to some late Sylvia's, with the numberplate on bumper, and the front end looking slightly 'Corvette Stingray' like. The engine sounds good, pulls well, new top rad hose required but otherwise sound. Couple of surface areas of metalworm but noting too serious. Interior is butterscotch cord with leather inserts, also in very good condition. It is a non turbo with 142000 on clock and history, MOT til November.
I can have it for around the £650 mark....advice wanted...should I go for it or not?
