After all the posts about speeding etc recently, I thought I'd share my experience with you.
Tonight, after setting off from work, I pulled onto the main road towards the motorway. As I approach a *COMPLETELY* blind left hander, with traffic coming from the other direction (40 limit) what do I see? A Fuckin' Police car coming towards me on MY side of the road doing about 70 mph - brakes on, loads of smoke - oh shit, here goes *cringe* up on the curb. If I had not taken this avoiding action, there would have been a serious accident. Yes he did have his blue lights on but no he didn't have the siren on. After shakily setting off again, what should happen but another police car does exactly the same thing again....
Now I know that they have responce times to answer for and such... but what would've happened:-
1) If I had not moved off the road to avoid a serious head on collision.
or,
2) If I had run into a pedestrian on the pavement - even worse, it is a common route for young mums with their children.
It would have ALL probably been my fault.
The thing that makes this situation so bad (if its not bad enough already) is that firstly, they did not even try to slow down but just barged me out of the way and secondly, the first fuckin' PIG (no other way to describe) gave me the wanker sign as he went past!!!
All I can say is I hope he's out drinking in Preston tonight He doesn't deserve to have a driving license - never mind be in charge (NOT control!!!) of a police vehicle.
In my eyes, some police officers abuse their position in order to drive past the limit of their capabilities.
What can be done? I know that if I called the police they would follow something along the lines of - "We have several of our pigs driving down that road every hour, there is no way we could trace who it was" or "Pigs don't drive like that, they are trained to a very high level"...... BULLSHIT high level Normal panda cars with normal (well, as normal as possible for a pig) drivers.
Another point is the time - 5:30 pm on a VERY busy main road with a pedestrian crossing (forgot to mention that one!) on the corner.
Fortunately I was in my 309 NOT the Z - there is no way I would go anywhere near the curb with my alloys so I would now be Zedless
You can probably tell I am not at all happy about this. Once was bad enough but twice on the same bend???
