Hi Guys

Anyone fitted an autometer mechanical water temp gauge. If so where do you fit the sender cos it has a 1/2"NPT male connector.

Do I need to replace the top radiator pipe with a stainless steel pipe and have a boss welded on it or is there another place to put it.

There is only 6ft of capillary tube connected to the meter and it is quite a run to get back from this position. It is also difficult to keep it away from extra heat that could affect the gauge.

Any ideas

Cheers,

Dean.
