Well that's you happy geeZer! I spoke to Pete at SE this afternoon, he reckons my car will be back together in the next couple of weeks. But I mentioned to him that I wanted the gearbox doing, I may back track that as he is absolutely fighting a losing battle at the moment.

Car was stalling when I put it in gear, which is embarassing in an auto. Chugging at tickover like a Scania, which makes you feel sick after 5 mins. stuck in Brum on the M6 on a Friday afternoon. Smoke inside the cabin when it felt like it, smoke belching from the engine bay, again, when it felt like it! What else? Not alot else wrong apart from that.

 

Told by Arriva Nissan that engine is Phuket, but Pete was not overly convinced. Apparently it had a rebuild recently(b4 me got me mits on it!) but not a thorough job. So Pete is doing a pukka job, also getting new Rad, wiring loom, metal head gasketts done at SE.

 

Then Techtom and ASP underdrive pulley are winging their way across the pond from Phuong in the US even as we speak. Also have my TC sat on top of the kitchen units ready to go...oh yeah, and some 300ZX.CO.UK URL stickers...bingo!

 

Yeah mate, my Auntie lives in Portsmouth down the road from HMS MERCURY which is where I trained to be a Radio Operator many moons ago.

 

So if I come down that way I will defo come over and see you geeZer! Met up with AndyP this week, which was nice. 1st visual contact with someone of the forum. Also had a wicked laugh talking to AndyDuff over the weekend while we were both cained!

 

Looking forward to meeting more peeps hopefully at Billing, are you coming over Glen? Especially seeing as you will be fully Zed'd-up!

Chris's motor certainly looks the biz and I hope you enjoy the ride home M8. Looks like my zed is about to have some company terrorising the Isle of Wight roads!

Yeah, but fortunately I got away with it by having a standard spoiler and suspension. Had I not then the front world have got ripped off everyday going into the underground car park at work !

It is the rudest car I have ever seen

Chris put some nice individual touches into the car, and it been sorted by SE since it has been in the country.

Its lower than a mexicano bandido and wears 18 inch high boots.

Its got more gizmos and switches on than I know what to do with.

I have to say that Chris was an absolute gent during the sale and even trusted me to mail him back his 21st birthday present, the Nismo steering wheel coz we didnt have time to sort a replacement. He put on 6 months tax and half a tank of gas in it at no extra charge.
