Does anyone know who does a good price on the avc-r in the uk?

you'd be mad to buy an avc-r from a supplier in the UK. I think prices are about £450 to £500.

Best bet is to import one from the USA. I got mine from www.turboimports.com for $478.

I know that Patrick Moen (moen1@freewwweb.com) at Unlimited was doing a group buy for $415 a couple of weeks back. May be worth mailing him.

I had found the AVCR on a US site at $500.

but I wasnt sure of the uk price to compare it to.

A bloke I know ships a container full of rod/american car parts every couple of months to the UK. He has given me his US shipping address and will bring the pulley back free of charge for me If I get it mailed there,I had a feeling the AVC-R would be cheaper over there so I was thinking about getting one chucked in with the pulley.

Check Twinturbo.Net classified's for second hand units and group buys. Should be able to pick one up even cheaper.

Oh and also according to a mate of mine from Japan Apex-i have a new badass version of the AVC-r that is even better than the old one. so it might be worth waiting a little while.

 

On the other hand he could have said my coding sux. His English and my japanese are about on par with each other. so you have been warned.

 

One more thing while your on the blower to Johnny ask him about the new blitz EVC apparently nicer than the AVC-r too.
