I find that quote almost unbelieveable, knowing what I do about Norwich Union ! My last quote from them was about 3 times that !! Are you absolutely certain they have it down as an import ? To be sure tell them it's a Nissan Fairlady, not a 300zx.

yes did all that Andy,must admit i made her check again,got all the docs with the right info.Must be lucky!been with them for 10yrs or so,had a Calton GSI 3ltr 180bhp before the Z

I and check its classed as a Z32 not a Z31.

 

TSB online quote says £400 fully comp for a 22 year old with 3 years NCB, which is not right.

My insurance is £1400 with 5 years no clames, pass plus, full comp with protection for a 300zx non turbo (21 years old) and it has cat 2 and 24 hour tracker

Hi, just tried NU Direct and got a result too!

 

£385.96 Full comp.+pncb+business use+wife,incl. courtesy car,legal assist , personal accident cover, £120 excess. Got 7 points but full ncb ,wife's got 3 points+ claim!

 

paid £750 last year with, guess who, NU Club.

 

This is for jap import NA 1991, apparently they no longer penalise imports anymore!

 

I am 50, so i suppose this helps.

 

I wonder if SAGA do imports?

 

Worth a try and ask for extra discount if you take it now, I did and got extra £30 off!!
