Last night 12 people, 8 British soilders and 4 US pilots, died after their Sea Knight helicopter crashed in desert.

It was not shot down but crashed because of cracked rotor.

Please give a thought to the families of these brave people who lost their lives.

The trechery (is that spelt correctly? :D) shown by the Daily Mirror is an absolute disgrace, and now using school kids and students who know f**k all about anythin is pathetic. I hope some squaddie comes back and shoves his bayonett up there ar5es.

Fully agree with the sentiments expressed about the fatalities....BUT, what does piss me off is that they are more 'avoidable' deaths. The Sea King had a recall due to faulty rotors FFS! Obviously this one wasn't overly inspected.

So far, in two Gulf 'conflicts' we have have lost 19 (11 from 'friendly fire' last time out....now this 8) personnel due to our 'kin allies!!

I'll bet that bit doesn't make it into the 'Hollywood' versions that will no doubt be wall-to-wall before too long.........

Get it done, get it done quick.....and don't waste any more of our guys!
