Hi,

 

Can anyone tell me where I can get a gear knob for my auto.

Also how difficult is it to fit?

P.S. Just got the car back from SE nissan after having a fast road rebuild on my poorly box. Mac1 is right about it being the king of fast road rebuilds. The changes are now far quicker and alot more positive. Big thanks to pete at SE for all the help and advice.

I'm know I'm sooo wrong but WTF is wrong with standard autobox? I can compare to any other but mine, replaced 2000 nearly 20k miles on it, is fine. Changes feel almost instant. I'm sure mine's standard, the code on the invoice is RE4RO3A.

 

What are the advantages of the fast road one?

I have a corsa one which you might be able to get some one to fit on, it has a green light inside

you can get this razo one:

 

 

for about 80-90 quid iirc. Very nice it is too, the o/d button is rather fiddly though :(

And heres how you fit it, just like macca says 20 min job!!!

Pete If you are at Billing this year,I will show you;)

 

Gear changes are faster than instant trust me;)

Unless of course your changing the gearstick, that gearchange will be 20 mins!!!:rolleyes:
