Yes, it was me and Latz in my car. That mangled lump is my pride and joy. Or was.

 

However, main thing is that everyone was OK. Something was looking after us...

i had a bump in mine today a woman did'nt see me in mine, i mean its bright yellow FFS, and whacked the passenger door and rear quater. i have booked it in for a full respray.

What does the site look like now it's cleared?

You cant tell really few small bits of glass on the side of the road, there is all along that road though ;). I only noticed it when I saw a red wing mirror on the floor and noticed it was a Z one. I think it will still work. Only the casing is broken a little the glass is fine. Hehehe

 

There was also a square peice of panel, but it was flat as a pancake so I have no ides what part it was off. LOL

Don't be offended but someone has to ask first, what are you planning to do with the car now? If you decide to buy back from insurance and break I am interested in the following:

 

Gearbox (if manual)

Leather seats (front only)

Hi-Heater button (if series 1) ;)

Thanks to everyone for their kind words....it's scary how quickly these things can happen and the potential for life loss... I'm just so very glad that it wasn't any worse than it was...

 

Latz - Thanks for being a tower of strength when it happened... Really appreciated it. Hope that your leg isn't too badly bruised...

 

One thing's for certain...I'm driving with extreme caution at the moment..... Four and a half years of owning a Zed and 11 years of driving and this is the first accident involving another vehicle that I've ever had.

 

At the moment I don't know what's happening with my poor Zed...just looking at her in the workshops is enough to make me feel sick and bring it all rushing back....

 

At any rate I've got to wait for the assessor to come out and view her before I can touch the car...
