help finding a bigger hole for temp gauge

hi ive got a water temp gauge to fit and my sensor on the lead of my gauge wire wont go through the little hole under the drivers footwell.

is there another hole which i can use?

ive tried the other side but the lead aint long enough to reach my a pillar gauge pod.

    It will go through lol, been there done that.its a tight fit but it does go through.
