the green/red wire might be the feed to the rear amp.

....And this may help, which I picked it up off of a post on one of the other BBs (Ben's Aus forum) and covers an import:-

Audio Wiring colour codes made easy!

Here are the colour codes

Ground - black

accessories - red

permanent battery - yellow

rear right positive - brown

rear right negative - black/red (2 of these!)

rear left positive - blue

rear left negative - black and white

front right positive - orange

front right negative - black and purple

front left positive - green

front left negative - black and yellow

Antenna - black and red (test these out because there are 2 black/red wires)

the wire in question is green with red stripe

Andy

double post

I presume someone's cut the wires to install a stereo already, otherwise you'd just be using an ISO adapter? If not, this may help...

I took out my old stereo last weekend and this is part of the sticker that was on the stereo, showing the layout of the wiring in the connectors. No colours though. :(
