My Dash board is melting!!

OK well it's not THAT bad, but still a worry that something is amiss. When I put switch my aircon to hot, the part of the dash at the front next to the vents has started to bubble up.

 

Anybody else had this problem before? Any cure, or should I just never turn it to hot?
