Does anyone know of any really good zx specialists in the london area. I need new brake pads. Do you know how much they are gonna cost roughly.

If you're around the Londonium area, then do a search for a guy called Darren. He is the best by all accounts.

 

But if you just want some brake pads then give Johnny a call at GPS. He is da main man, the Z Daddy! His number is in the contacts section.

Hi,

In london I think the only option are Nissan dealers or Halfords. Halfords do a lucas part which is about £22 for 2 front pads. They are not very good but okay if your pads are down to the metal backing plate and just need something to get around with. If they havent got them in stock they normally have them ready for next day. Mike Feeney at MJP might be able to help and have better options, hes in Essex (+44 (0)1277 374201) http://www.lightman.co.uk/mjp/ .

Or SE-Nissan also in essex (01621 858856) may be able to help. They have nissan pads at £77, EBC (not bad) for £60 and Porterfield (very good) for £129. Also Johnny at Grasshopper (01942 671239) may be able to do you a good price for Porterfield stuff if you want mail order. Fitting can be done by yourself in about 1/2 an hour http://www.ttzd.com/tech/brakestech.html .

Yep Darrens highly recommended if you want fitting, I think he works for Ancaster Nissan in Rochester.
