June 29, 200124 yr Does anyone have any pictures of a 98 model 300zx TT ? Also, how did they differ from the 90+ models (both in terms of mechanics and body design)?
June 29, 200124 yr Howdy, On the SE open day some gentleman decided to turn up in a 98 2 seater turbo Z slicktop with 4k on the clock. All I could spot was the electronic Hicas as apposed to us early boys with hydraulic hicas. This car was in mint condition, you could eat your dinner off the under side if required it was shiny. Plus when it started up it sounded smooth no odd sounds just quiet and happly purred away. Ta (eddie with 121k on my noisy Z) ------------------ crazyeddie.co.uk
June 29, 200124 yr Hardly no difference at all, mechanically I think that after '91 there may have been something different with the variable valve timing...could be wrong! Also the HICAS on the 90-91 models was mechanical and on later models it was electronically controlled...again, could be wrong but that's what I am lead to believe. Also, interior on the earlier cars was a nastey carpet effect, which is what I've got! It changed to leathery type plasticy effect on later cars. Apart from that, not alot else is different. Tim ;-)
