Basically clean everything.

Water temp sensor,

change air filters,

fuel filter,

clean TPS,

and reset ECU.

I had a high tickover and after I changed the filters and cleaned the sensors it went, as did the irratic idle.

I cleand my TPS ( i think ) the other day, that little black box on the side of the passenger side throttle body, as my tickover was a little uneven, when i put it back it ticked over at 2,000 revs until i realised you turn it with the screws loose to your desired tickover and now she purrs on tickover at a sweet bit below 1,000 revs.

So if yours is too high, a twist of this TPS thingy should sort it.

Good luck.
