heavy left foot, yes left!!!

thanks for the replies RE: Heavy Clutch???

So it seems I definitly have a problem with my clutch, it shouldn't be this heavy and the release bearing noise isn't too much to worry about.

I don't think it has an uprated clutch...

Has anybody got any ideas what could be causing the heavyness???

Is there any way of testing the hydraulics? or is it just a matter of strip down and inspection? Has anybody done this?

any help is appreciated!

chances are its the clutch itself, its usually the clutch cover that causes it as it wears IME.

how much am i looking at for a new one???

I won't be needing an uprated one, not going to bother to tune engine, will get TT when bored with NA

check Courtesy Nissan in the states for prices. they usually work out cheaper than over here - even with shippng. or speak to Mike Feeney, got his no at work, ill post it if no-ones posted a link or his no by tomorrow :)

thanks... that's not too bad, come to £168 for disc, pressure plate, bearing, slave, alignment tool and fork boot! shipping extra...
