I've looked through previous posts about bodykits and on one it said that Simon H's bodykit is a Strosek. What I wanted to know is about the side skirts, they look like the ones that Luke does for the wide arch kit, but from the rides section it doesn't look as though Simon has the wide arch kit (maybe wrong) cos he still seems to have the normal petrol filler cap. Does anyone know???

Nope, and I live on the Isle of Wight too!!

Would have thought I'dda seen a waggen of such georgeousosity weaving round the country lanes of da Wight(aiii - aiii of Wight) - and I drive past his factory every day too - hmm the thick plottens, where is the lovely red rice muncher then Si ;-)

Sorry for the late reply to your post but I have been away on holiday with the new Wife!!. You are quite correct about the rear arches on my zed. I did purchase the wide arch strosek kit but when it arrived I changed my mind as to how to fit it. I had recently bought my new Khan wheels and they obviously would not fill the monster rear arches. I also did not know that Luke supplies spacer kits to sort this problem..Dow!!

 

I did not want to buy any more wheels after getting the kit ( and knowing how much it would cost to blend into the body of the car ) so I modified the rear arch sections. I shit a brick doing this as i did not want to balls up the kit but it worked out ok in the end and retained the sleek look of the car. I also saved me from having to cut the rear wing of the body about which is what needs to be done to install the flared arches ( Luke could confirm if this is the case! ). I also had to modify the rear bumper to take the four outlet exhaust tips as it comes to fit the two outlet tips.

 

I would have to say vijay if you have the money to get the strosek kit go for it! makes an already great car look greater.
