Yes thats right i no longer have my beloved g plate import 2 seater manual n/a zed, but welcome everyone, my new H plate manual tt in black 4 seats, many of you will know the car that belonged to paul (semco32), i believe paul has now retired to a villa in spain with all the money i had to throw his way to prize it from him, not to worry tho, but here we go can any one tell me what the mmg-$$ boost gauge is in psi as it goes up to seven or so but what does it all mean?? im sad to see my old n/a go mind, but its nice to look out the window and see a zed replacing a zed, also paul suggested searching the site to learn about turbos etc as i know little about them, (maintenance n care i presume) as its not something i ever really needed to know, n e one know of any helpfull links etc???? im now off to change my profile

hi gavo thanks for the reply to my question (my leak)

my advice if you have got yourself a twinturbo is to get a turbo timer fitted , if you put in a search for turbo timers all will be explained

It already has a turbo timer on, i will have to read instructions to know how the hell it works but i understand the principle of keeping the engine ticking over:) i feel all brand new, my heeeds sore off the exhaust tho lol

oh i forgot that gauge is your boost for the turbos:D :D

Welcome to the "TT" world! How are you finding the TT power-wise compared to your N/A?

1bar is just over 14PSI, is that what you were asking?

Hi james, power is defo up on the n/a, not much in it to 60 but from third onwards is where the tt scores, it such a different car to drive tho, more rattles more bumps more noise and a hell of a grin when i shut off and you hear the dump valves, only way to describe it is raw compared to refined, i have never been in anything that accelerates like this after 100 tho, truly awesome you can actualy see the speedo going up at a hell of a rate, it has an incredible stride, im enjoying it but still treating it with some respect at the mo, its much harder to drive sensibly than my last one tho, its an absolute hooligan, that just wants to be off lol, my main prob is that im not off till friday and keep looking longingly into the car park and wishing the day away, big boys toys etc lol

1 x mmHg = 0.02 Pounds/Sq Inch

7 x mmHg = 0.14 Pounds/Sq Inch

I'm happy for your change!:)

I'll recommend a JWT chip for your ECU to start with.. or any applicable chip that allows a high rev cut.. u can even feel the rush on gear 1..

Not forgetting a turbo boost controller.. that allows you to set different turbo boost level at different settings..(tuning needed)

Good luck and have fun blasting!:p

gavo, remember we are having a race once the n/a comes out of the garage;) the car goes in next tuesday and i wont see it for about 2 months:( and monzee the car has a jwt chip in it already from smithy:D
