Anyone here insured with elephant.co.uk? Any good? Any problems?

Featured Replies

I have a big problem with them...

The TV advert is one of the worst I have ever seen! :D

I'll take that as a positive comment since the less they spend on decent advertising the more they have available to pay us when we have accidents

Have heard that they are OK til u make a claim then they are real difficult to get hold of.

Only what I heard though

Nick

I pretend to work, they pretend to pay me!

yeah i am insured with elephant. only had insurance with them for a month but they seem to be ok. nice and easy. only non reasurring thing is that the site is often down so i think making any sort of claim ( god forbid ) might be a problem btu in retro spec they did quote me more than a grand less than any other insurance company i could find, even cheaper than most specialist guys .

Yes all claims have to be made via the internet which could take days to do, or a premium rate phone number.

I found a insance site which was good. It was called confuesed or something like that.

I've been with Elephant for over a year now.

They are pretty good although they don't allow you to pay in installments yet.

They are mod friendly (up to five mods) just don't lower the car 50mm or more because they won't insure you :(

I have also found them fast and reliable in dealing with queries but I haven't had to make a claim yet...Touch wood :p
