Hi again folks

Engine running/performance thing cured. Seems that the wire I found dangling under the front bumper was a connection for one of the sensors. When I connected it up, the ecu must have started to relearn settings, cos the more I drive it, the less evident the problem is.....thanks for all your help though.

Another problem tonight though....came to drive home and...no lights....eventually nailed it down to a 10 amp fuse in the drivers footwell....replaced it and poof! it blows again. Any of you come across this problem before, or do you thing it is a bad or wet connection somewhere?

Thanks

Steve

Have you recently put a new stereo in? There is no earth in the stereo loom (it earths through the chassis/aerial) - I mistook the light wire for the earth (I fitted in the day). As soon as you put the lights on the fuse blows (i.e. the lighting circuit goes straight to earth). I found this one dark night in January!!!

Otherwise, a bad wire somewhere?
