Featured Replies

Isnt it that big Merc. The one that Jeremy Clarkson owns.

Its like 600bhp.

But Bentley do a 1,100 bhp car. That is the most powerful road car. Dont know if its an Auto though.

Stuart

Thanks - I meant auot 300 but interesting. I was thinking of that Merc as well - autos can be made to handle lots of power.;)

Hi Nelson,

I should imagine they would know on TT.net, they like an auto in the states do a search on their forum!

What was andy elephants car auto or manual?

Mark

Have there ever actual dyno proven results of andy elephants car? never seen any proper ones, just loads of specualtion.

its an awesome car, not sure what it was, or is.

but power wise Auto boxs have alot of probs going over 480 bhp i think it was ? And to go way over that figure youll find the modifications become very expensive for the box.

Andy elephant's is a manual and he has had a few engine changes, but I did see him on top gear a few years back and he went to the limit of the rolling road which was 500 brake.

I think the badge on the back of his car says 600ZX.

but anyone can put a badge on...

I think SGP Racing's drag Z was an auto, not sure what the power output was but I think it did 10 second quarter mile or something like that.

Nelson do a search on tt.net and SGP Racing the info maybe there.
